This tip uses geometric figures. We start with a right triangle where you can see the dimensions of the three sides:

We get four copies of this triangle and arrange them so that they form a big square. Notice that there is also another square formed in the middle:

Can you tell what the size of the big blue square is?
As a last step, we rearrange the triangles marked 1 and 2 as shown in this last picture:

Notice that in this new arrangement we have two sections marked A and B. Are they both perfect squares? How do you know? Can you tell the size of each of the two sections?
After answering these questions, can you figure out the sought out relationship?
